We assist you in processing your visa to study in Ireland

If you are a European citizen, you need to obtain a visa to come to study and work in Ireland, although there are some differences depending on your country of origin.

To be able to work, you have to apply for the IRP residence card, once 3 months have passed since your entry into the country.

But, you’re in luck! We will help you make this process as smooth as possible.

What do we need to process your visa?

Your valid passport

Confirmation of Enrollment (COE)

To travel to Ireland, you need a valid passport with a validity of more than 6 months.

If you have dual nationality, we will advise you on which passport is most recommended for coming to study in Ireland.

The school will provide this document once you are enrolled in a course. We take care of processing your enrollment. You just have to choose the course in Ireland that you like the most.

To enroll in a course, you also need to submit a Statement of Purpose (SOP), in which we will state why you want to study in Ireland. We will draft it for you.

Requirements and visas for studying English in Ireland

If you are a European citizen

If you live in Spain or another European Union member country, you do not need a visa to live, work, or study in Ireland; your ID card (DNI) is sufficient.

To receive healthcare assistance, you will need to apply for the European Health Insurance Card.

If you are Argentine, Mexican, or Chilean

If you have any of these nationalities, you do not need to apply for a visa before traveling, as your passport will be stamped upon arrival in Ireland.

However, you will not be able to work until you have obtained your IRP (Irish Residence Permit).

To obtain it, you must have enrolled in a course of at least 25 weeks in duration, and once you have it, you can work part-time while studying.

If you come from another country

If you come from another country, you will need to apply for your visa before traveling to Ireland. You also have the obligation to purchase travel medical insurance.

To apply for your visa, you will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Have a valid passport for the entire duration of your stay
  • Have the acceptance letter from the school, which you will receive once you have enrolled in a course of 25 weeks or longer
  • Proof of course payment
  • Pay the student visa fee (around €300)
  • Mandatory travel medical insurance
  • Demonstrate that you have the financial means to support yourself throughout your stay (minimum of €500 per month)
  • Letter of intent, in which you will state why you want to come to study in Ireland

But don't worry! We take care of helping you with everything 🙂

Visas for studying in Ireland

  • To study a course of up to 3 months in Ireland, you have to apply for the tourist visa (Short Stay C Visa), and you will not be allowed to work while studying.
  • If you come to study a course of at least 25 weeks in duration, you can apply for the student visa (Study Visa), which allows you to work part-time during the course and full-time during vacations.
